It has only one downside: Apple hasn't updated the ITLibrary framework for years. Therefore beaTunes uses a last-modification/hash-based approach, which works really well. Access to the full version of the software is available for $34.95 and upgrade from beaTunes 3.x.x is only $11.Now, with macOS 10.15 and the new Music app, doing a diff is not an option anymore and checking the file system is inefficient.
